Soffit & Fascia
Installation in Calgary
Professional aluminum soffit and fascia installation for proper attic ventilation, a clean finished roofline, and permanent protection against moisture, rot, and pests.
More Than Just Looks — It's Ventilation
Soffit and fascia are the unsung workhorses of your roofline. Fascia boards protect your rafter tails from the elements and anchor your gutters — when they rot, your gutters follow. Soffit closes the underside of your eave overhang, and when it includes continuous vent profiles, it becomes the intake for a complete ridge-and-soffit ventilation circuit that is essential to your roof system's longevity.
Most Calgary homes were built with painted wood soffit and fascia that begins to deteriorate within 10–15 years. Once paint fails, moisture infiltrates, and wood rot accelerates through freeze-thaw cycles. Replacing wood with aluminum soffit and fascia eliminates this cycle permanently — aluminum does not rot, split, warp, or need painting.
We also address pest barriers during every soffit installation. Properly installed aluminum vented soffit with mesh-backed continuous vent strips blocks birds, squirrels, and insects while maintaining full airflow — one of the most overlooked aspects of soffit work.
Soffit & Fascia Profile Options
Solid Soffit Panels
Clean, uniform panels for enclosed soffits. Available in a range of colors to coordinate with your siding and trim.
Vented Soffit Panels
Perforated or slot-vented panels that provide continuous attic intake airflow while maintaining a finished appearance.
Continuous Vent Soffit
Full-length vent strip profiles that maximize intake ventilation. Ideal for homes with cathedral ceilings or low attic volume.
Aluminum Fascia Wrap
Pre-painted aluminum coil stock bent to wrap and permanently cap existing fascia boards, eliminating future painting.
How We Install Your Soffit & Fascia
Inspection & Measurement
We inspect all existing soffit and fascia for rot, structural damage, and ventilation adequacy. We measure every run and calculate the required vent area for your specific attic volume.
Old Material Removal
Deteriorated wood soffit, painted fascia boards, and any damaged rafter tails are carefully removed. Pest entry points are identified and documented for sealing.
Soffit & Fascia Installation
Aluminum fascia wrap is formed and installed over repaired fascia boards. Soffit panels — vented or solid as required — are cut to fit and snapped into J-channel and F-channel for a tight, finished fit.
Ventilation & Finish
All vent openings are backed with mesh pest screen. We verify total vent area meets or exceeds the 1:150 ratio standard, then complete corner and transition pieces for a clean, weather-tight finish.
