In most cases, replacing like-for-like siding or roofing does not require a permit from the City of Calgary. Structural changes, adding new exterior insulation layers, or modifications to heritage homes may require permits. We assess this during your free estimate and handle permit applications when needed.

Spring through early fall (May–October) offers the best installation conditions. However, we complete installations year-round. Certain products have minimum temperature requirements — we follow manufacturer guidelines for cold-weather installation and will advise you accordingly.

Most siding projects take 3–7 business days depending on home size and complexity. Roofing is typically 1–3 days. Combination projects (siding + roofing + metals) are sequenced efficiently to minimize disruption. We provide a detailed schedule at project start.
